What every tier includes
All ten courses, and anything added after you join.
Goaltender Movement
The same mechanics applied to the position that needs them most. Posture, push efficiency and arriving set rather than arriving early.
CA$149
Zone Entries and Deception
Carrying the puck over the line against a defender who is ready for you, and what to do when you have clearly lost the entry.
CA$149
Defensive Mechanics
Gap control as a movement problem. How elite defenders stay square without backing in, and why most defensive drills teach the opposite.
CA$149
Off-Ice: Building the Spring
A twelve-week programme for the elastic qualities the stride depends on. No gym required for the first six.
CA$129
Edge Work Foundations
The entry point. If the stride course felt like it assumed something you do not have yet, start here.
Free
Patterns of the Players
The repeatable route patterns behind goals that look improvised. Reverse-engineered from film, taught as decisions rather than as plays.
CA$199
Precise Puck Control
Stickhandling as posture and eye position rather than hand speed. Why the best puck carriers look slow and are impossible to take off it.
CA$179
The Slingshot Shooting System
Power from sequencing, not from the arms. How a shot loads through the lower body and releases in an order most players have backwards.
CA$179
Matching Elite Mechanics
Side-by-side breakdowns of the four or five distinct skating signatures at the top of the game, and which one your body is actually built for.
CA$199
Downhill Skating: Technique
The core course. Where the speed actually comes from, why pushing harder is the wrong answer, and how to rebuild a stride around elastic recoil instead of effort.
CA$249
Why this rather than the alternatives
The honest comparison, including the cases where something else is the better answer.
Against free video
There is a great deal of good free instruction and no order to any of it. What you cannot get for free is a progression that assumes the last thing you learned.
Against a private coach
A good coach at $150 an hour beats this, if you can find one who teaches these mechanics. Most of the market still teaches the opposite, and a bad hour is worse than no hour.
Against more ice time
More repetitions of the wrong pattern make the wrong pattern more automatic. Fix the mechanic first, then buy the ice.
Where this is the wrong answer
If you have never skated at all, book lessons locally for a season first. Come back when you can stop, turn and skate backwards without thinking about it.
“I joined for the skating and stayed for the shooting course, which fixed something no coach had ever named.”
“The video analysis on Lab Plus is the part I would not give up. Seeing my own stride next to the reference ended an argument I had been having with myself for two years.”
Questions
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. Every tier is month to month.
How long before I notice anything?
Most members report a difference in two to four weeks on the first mechanic they work on. Rebuilding a stride is a three to six month project, and anyone promising faster is selling something.
What if I am a coach rather than a player?
Roughly a third of the membership coaches. The courses are built to be taught from, and Lab Plus includes the analysis tools you would use with a player in front of you.
Do I need equipment?
Rollerblades, a stick, a flat surface and somewhere to prop a phone. That covers most of the library.
