Why this exists

A coaching business that started as an argument with the way skating is taught, and turned into a library because the argument kept being won on film.

How the method was built

Not from a theory about skating. From several thousand hours of slow-motion film and the awkward discovery that the best players were not doing what everyone teaches.

It started with a contradiction

Players were being coached to sit low, hold long edges and push hard. The fastest skaters in the world were doing almost none of that, and were faster while working less.

Film, then mechanism

Naming what elite skaters do is the easy half. The work was explaining why it produces speed, which is where a kinesiology background stopped being decorative.

Taught, corrected, taught again

Every progression in the library survived contact with real players who could not feel the thing being described. The ones that did not survive are not in it.

Still changing

Courses are re-filmed when a better explanation is found. Members get the new version at no cost, because charging for a correction is charging for our own mistake.

Who runs it

Small on purpose. Everyone here still coaches.
